Ankle Impingement in Primary Care

About

Join us for a highly anticipated event where Liz will delve into both anterior and posterior ankle impingement, discussing the causes, presentations, and treatment options. We’ll also look at common misdiagnoses, differentials, when to scan and how to interpret image findings in light of new evidence. Liz is currently the head physio on ‘The Lion King’, with the company West End Osteopathy. She is also a specialist performing arts physio with ‘Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance’ in London. Her special interests are the foot and ankle, injury reduction, stretching and flexibility, and return-to-sport/dance rehabilitation. She teaches a ‘Foot and Ankle Fundamentals’ course alongside Lizzie Marlow, and also teaches courses specifically on foot strength. These courses run internationally. Liz has worked in private sports injury clinics, falls prevention services, and is a qualified DMA Clinical Pilates instructor. She has written articles on dance injury prevention for 'The Stage' and has been a guest on many different podcasts, talking about her work with performers, and feet! 2023 marked her third consecutive year of speaking for ‘Therapy Live’ with Physio Matters. Liz also visits dance companies and schools as a consultant physio, seeing their more complex foot and ankle injuries.
